Cracked tile, crumbling grout, lifted planks and loose transition strips repaired in place, so the damaged spot is fixed without redoing the room.
Flooring and tile repair covers fixing cracked or loose tiles, repairing grout, patching lifted vinyl plank, laminate and hardwood spots, and installing transition strips and floor trim. It is spot repair of damaged sections, not replacing a whole floor. Clean Corps is a veteran-owned handyman and property maintenance company serving Lake Mary and the wider Orlando area. About Lake Mary: North of Orlando in Seminole County, Lake Mary is a suburban city built up along the I-4 corridor and Lake Mary Boulevard. Single-family homes lead the housing mix, alongside apartments and condominiums, and named lakes such as Big Lake Mary sit inside the city.
Lake Mary’s housing falls into two broad groups by age: many homes date to earlier decades and many are newer builds. A floor in the first group often needs a closest-match repair, because tile and grout have aged unevenly, and the smaller number of still older homes may need the same. A floor in the second group more often needs a smaller punch-list fix.
In an older house, matching is the job. Discontinued tile, grout that has darkened in some rooms and not in others, and a plank with a worn surface mean the target is the closest match available, never a promised exact one. In a newer house the repairs run smaller: a hollow-sounding tile, a cracked corner, grout opened along a joint, a lifted plank or a poorly set transition strip that catches. Gaps along baseboards and tile edges get caulked. A damp spot, or a crack that keeps growing, points to another trade first.
Mark each floor problem as you find it and photograph it with something for scale. Spare tile, planks or grout left from the original install can help the closest match, so look in the garage or a closet. If the home is in an association community, check with your local building department or HOA before changing a floor surface. Landlords can fold floor fixes into a recurring plan. Our post on when to patch, repair or replace frames the choice. Call (407) 638-8956.

Often, yes. A single cracked tile can usually be cut out and replaced when a matching tile is available. Spare tiles from the original installation make matching much easier. Without a close match, the repair may be visible next to the surrounding floor.
Grout in wet areas absorbs moisture and stains, and humidity often speeds up darkening. It can also crack where a tile has loosened or the floor flexes. Crumbling grout can usually be removed and redone, but a hollow tile underneath needs more than new grout.
Usually something else. A tile that sounds hollow or rocks has often lost its adhesive bond underneath, so it typically needs to be lifted and rebedded rather than regrouted. Tapping nearby tiles can show how far the loose area spreads.
Not always. Older tile may be discontinued and grout can darken unevenly, so the aim is the closest match available, not an exact one. Spare tile saved from the original job helps. What can be matched depends on the tile, plank or grout that can be found.
Many are punch-list items: a hollow tile, a cracked corner, a poorly set transition strip or a plank that has lifted. Many of Lake Mary's housing units are newer builds. Clean Corps repairs the surface; slab and subfloor problems go to another trade.
Call (407) 638-8956 or send a request online with photos of each tile, plank or strip, plus any leftover spare material. A damp spot needs its source fixed first. Visits can be one-time or part of a recurring plan, and an association may want a heads-up.
